Women’s & Children’s Hospital – Gilbert Building Extension
The construction of the new Children’s Cancer Centre represented an enormous feat on the hospital site with the Queen Victoria Hospital services relocated from Rose Park. The project received industry recognition with construction completed within the confined area with no disruption to health services. Located within three new floors on top of the Gilbert Building, the facilities will improve the hospital care of sick children and manage life threatening and often chronic diseases.
