Application:
A low profile, flexible graphite based, intumescent fire seal ‘set’, for installation to door frame perimeters of Proprietary fire doors. This seal is an ideal retrofit fire sealing solution, supplied with aggressive self-adhesive backing tape.
This sealing system allows for a cost-effective and clean build-up of non-rated steel door frames with only 15mm stops, in lieu of the conventional 25mm stops required for fire doors. With its low profile design, this seal is to be applied across the head, hinge & lock stiles of the door frame.
Approvals:
AS1530 Part 4 fire tests with Proprietary fire doors providing up to 2 hours fire resistance, in compliance with AS1905 Part 1.
