Application:
A rigid, PVC encased intumescent fire seal with dual elastomeric flexible sealing blades. These seals are supplied with aggressive self-adhesive backing tape or can be simply screw-fixed to the underside (& head if required) of a door leaf (with sufficient clearances). These seals are an ideal retrofit fire, smoke and acoustic solution for sealing perimeters of Proprietary fire doors, providing up to 2 hours fire resistance.
Both these seals provide an ideal alternative to sealing double swing (pivot), fire door assemblies, where the smoke sealing fins can remain uninterrupted while the seal body is checked to allow for door hardware
Approvals:
AS1530 Part 4 fire tests with Proprietary fire doors providing up to 2 hours fire resistance, in compliance with AS1905 Part 1.
Can be considered ‘deemed to satisfy’ BCA Specification C3.4 for use with smoke doors (when fitted to compliant door leaf).
